Your score follows the same straightforward logic as the main test.
You start at 25. Every box you check subtracts one point. When you hit Calculate My Score, the total checked boxes are subtracted from 25 and that number is your final score.
Check 8 boxes, your score is 17. Check 20, your score is 5.
